Compusult only getting one layer from GetCapabilities

It was my understanding that when Compusult extracted metadata after harvesting, if it found a getCapabilities link it then created records for each of the layers. The Giovanni Giovanni Imagery Service only shows Airnow as a layer, even though there are many other layers in the GetCapabilities file.  Is this how it works or is their a problem?
