ESRI- AQ Community Catalog Metadata Mapping

We have changed the structure of our metadata records to be one for each parameter layer (each layer of getcapabilities doc), so that we can accept getcapabilities documents that are organized in any way (i.e. by dataset like us or every layer that a particular provider has). So now the title in the first identification object is for the layer name (dataset) and second indentification object is for the service. You are extracting/overwriting? the first parameter title with the second service title when you harvest these records. This also happens with the abstract - we'd like to display the dataset layer name and abstract, but what shows up is the service name and abstract. How should we proceed?
