AQ WAF Harvested by ESRI
Air Quality Community Catalog Web Accessible Folder (AQ WAF) was registered as a component and service in the GEOSS Component and Service Registry. The CCRM Workgroup was alerted and the ESRI GEO portal harvested the folder. The intial metadat records were for each dataset parameter. The WAF is being modified so that each record is for a dataset and within the record there is a description of each parameter (i.e. ozone, pm10, pm2.5).

I reharvested the WAF today (3/2). 17 out of the 22 records were published. The ones that failed, did so because GPT did not recognize them as INSPIRE metadata. This has been discussed earlier. It would be good if INSPIRE can choose a metadata standard name and version to use to distinguish INSPIRE metadata from other profiles of ISO19115/19139.
ReplyDeleteI added a rule to GPT to recognize this metadata as INSPIRE metadata. After this it still fails as the metadata is not using the namespaces it declares: MD_Metadata should be gmd:MD_Metadata.

hi Erin,
ReplyDeleteI reharvested the WAF. the DataFed.AIRNOW.xml doc is invalid XML and the harvester is not able to actually fetch it. The other doc (NGC.CALPUFF.xml) was validated and published.
cheers,
Marten
